This is the story Beth Moore tells about the man in the wheelchair at the airport. The Lord asks her to brush his hair. It is very powerful.

James: Mercy Triumphs--DVD Leader Kit
By Beth Moore / Lifeway
James: Mercy Triumphs - Leader Kit by Beth Moore helps a leader facilitate this women's Bible study experience and contains all that is needed to conduct the 7 weeks of small group time. James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Includes teaching DVDs, a Member Book, and a Leader Guide. 8 video sessions with 7 weeks of print study. Keywords

Finish The Race
We can never give up. No matter how things are shaping up. No matter how bad things are beginning to look. Sometimes that is the test. The test of endurance.
Most of the children of Israel lost the test of endurance. The problem is we don’t realize sometimes what it is that’s being tested.
My husband and I went through a very long, hard-fought battle. Our dream of pioneering a church did not end the way we thought it would. We thought that was the end of the battle; not realizing, the battle had only begun.
I thought I had all this faith. I believed my faith could not be shaken. No matter what, I would believe God and his promises would be fulfilled in my life.
We have a very real enemy that is not playing around. He knows his time is short and he is doing all he can to defeat God’s people. The Bible says, “Satan is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.” (1 Peter 5:8)
It seemed like we were hit one blow after another. The hits just kept coming. It felt like an eternity. I began to really question God. I didn’t understand why we were standing on God’s Word and doing our best to be obedient yet things seemed to be getting worse.
The thing that stood out the most was the longevity of the battle. The fear of one more hit from the enemy was paralyzing. I know now, that was Satan’s plan all along: To paralyze with fear would keep us from moving into the ‘Promised Land’.
Thank God He has faithful when I felt like giving up. I can look back and see now He was cheering us on to the finish line.
He brought us through; not unscathed and not without some bruises. I wouldn’t want to go through that journey again, but I know that we are much stronger. Our faith is much deeper, and our love for Him is much richer.
Never, never give up!
